![]() The actual problem is that the "missing" (obviously not really missing) message have been archived (Inbox label removed) so they are only found in OTHER labels, like All Mail, Important, the Category labels, etc. Them being marked as Important is irrelevent to the actual problem. ![]() In Gmail itself, I still had one email go to the Important label and not the inbox, even though I used these settings: If you are using Apple Mail, all you need to do is go into Gmail on the web, click on settings, go to the labels tab, then under "All Mail" in the "Systems Labels" list, click HIDE and then UNCHECK the "show in IMAP" box. I'd like all 4000 to go to the inbox, and then I can use filters in Mail.app to put them where I want.ĮDIT/UPDATE: I followed these directions: I can, however, search for a sender, select all those messages, and send them to the Inbox. ![]() Over 4,000 of them.īut after doing that "fix", the messages still don't appear in the inbox, and I can't move Important emails to the Inbox. ![]() However, it looks like all of the missing emails have been marked as Important and are found there. My Gmail inbox displays no messages after Nov. ![]()
